Generel

Jutlandia Cup 2009 takes place Monday 13th to Saturday 18th July 2009 at Vingstedcentret.

The Committee has decided to make Jutlandia Cup bigger than ever, in order to let more dogs run. That means:

  • competitions will take place in 3 rings
  • there will be maximum of 1050 start per day - when reaching this limit priority is given according to a set of criterias
  • each handler can have 5 runs per day. There is no limit to the number of dogs a handler can start with
  • every day 3 classes are available: 1 Agility, 1 Jumping and 1 Open (agility or jumping)

The following classes are available:

  • Agility class 1, 2, 3 and open agility
  • Jumping class 1, 2, 3 and open jumping
  • Juniors (the handler must be between 8 and 16 years): Class 1 and open.
  • Seniors (the dog must be at least 7 years): Class 2 and open.

The final takes place Saturday. There is a final for small, medium and large dogs. Later information about how to qualify for the final will be available here.

There are no competitions on Thursday. It is a day of rest.

DKK's rules for price giving will not be followed.

Registration

Online registration for the Jutlandia Cup 2009 will be available from 1st February 2009 at 12am and until 1st Marts 2009. Registration can only be done via a form on this website.

If the limit of 1050 starts per day is reached, a priority of the particiments will be made. Priorities will amoung several things include the following:

  • if you or a family member not running agility can be an official
  • numbers of runs you want to participate

Veterinarian

At Jutlandiacup 2009 veterinarian Niels Moller, Gimlinge Dyreklinik, be present at the site.

The veterinarian will at a specified time give worm treatment to foreign dogs, who need this before the return journey.

The veterinarian can also be contacted in case of acute injuries. More info will be available in the catalog.

Amendments

The competitions of Jutlandia Cup will be held in accordance with the regulations established by the Danish Kennel Clubs (DKK). You therefore have to accept the Danish Kennel Clubs conditions to participate.

  • Tail docked dogs and ear cropped dogs are not allowed to participate (see exceptions here)
  • The dog must be at least 18 months
  • The dog must be vaccinated against Parvo and Distemper
  • Foreign dogs must also be vaccinated against Rabies
  • The dog must have a Agility record book or a license issued by DKK or another FCI-approved kennel club. A record book for Agility can be bought at DKK for DKR 50.
  • In-whelp bitches and bitches with puppies younger than 8 weeks cannot participate
  • Bitches in season can participate, but will be placed in an appointed area
  • Handlers must be a least 10 years old (juniors only 8 years old)
  • The dog insurance policy must include agility
