Jutlandia Cup - Judges
We have the pleasure to present the judges at Jutlandia Cup 2009 below. The list will expand as we receive the presentation of the judges.
Andreas Silfverberg
My name is Andreas Silfverberg and I’m 28 years old. I live outside Malmö (Sweden). I’ve been competing in agility since 2002 and I run a medium Sheltie named Twiggy.
On top of being an agility judge, I’m also an agility instructor. I’ve also been an ice hockey referee. I’m very interested in photography and take a lot of photos at the agility shows that I take part in www.agilityfocus.se. On this website you can find my courses. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the participants and organizer the very best of luck at Jutlandia Cup.
Andy Hudson
I have been competing in agility since 1991 and judging since 1995. In 2006 I judged the Olympia dog agility finals and is booked to judge the Crufts championship agility in 2010.
I have owned border collies for many years and more recently have acquired my first sheltie. She is a little star and has had a great start to her agility career in 2008 winning 20 1st places and also winning the Dogs in Need small novice final in August.
Elke Kraul
Since 1988 I have been competing in agility. In my herd I have dogs of any size (dwarf poodles, schnauzers and austr. shepherd) in agility class 3. Dog number 7 is in training.
In the German Association of dog clubs I'm both judging and coaching agility.
Lars Bang
I started with agility back in 1988 and have run agility since. I was at a Danish Kennel Club exhibition to show my Poodle. There was an agility demonstration to show this new dog sport. From that point my heart has been to agility.
I was on the Danish National Team in 2000. I also ran for Denmark at Olympia and Crufts in 2000 and 2001. I have also run for the Danish National Team with a Shetland sheepdog, which I borrow from a friend, in 2004 and 2005.
I have been an agility judge since December 1991 and have been judging a lot in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and sometimes in Finland. Last year I also judge the Swiss-Agility-Championship 2008.
When I am designing agility courses I think about making technical course that are fair for the dog and the handler, at that level they are running. A good design of a course is when there can be different ways to handle it and with the right handling the dog can have a smoothly run at the course. But getting away from the ideal line can give the handler trouble.
Morten Juhl Hansen
In 2006 I got educated as agility judge and I'm judging in the two largest dog associations in Denmark.
I'm a active agility handler with 2 border collies. A four year old dog competing in class 3 in both associations and a two year old starting in class 1.
I have participated at WM and NM (Nordic Championships) with a former dog.
I also function as agility coach for a competitive team.
Kurt Jensen
I'm 58 years old, have been competing in agility for 12 years and been judging agility the last 9 years. I like to do challenging, a little different courses with new combinations requiring imagination and forethought on the participants. Besides Denmark, I have been judging in Germany and Norway, and I have been living in Holland, where I also had the pleasure to participate in agility competitions.
I have three Border Collier and have participated with two of these at both world championships and Nordic championships. I'm agility instructor at DcH Risskov (on the outskirts of Aarhus) and is also active in the Border Collie Club, where I have helped organizing about 50 agility courses with a large selection of good instructors.
Johanna Allanach
I have been competing in agility since early 90s and am currently competing with a Border Collie and a Sheltie. I have 3 young dogs on the way - they will start competing this year. In 2004 I joined the Danish National Team. Last year I qualified 3 dogs to Crufts 2008 - and got a 2 place in Starters Finals
I have been an agility judge in the Dansk Kennel Klub since December 1991. I've been judging in Sweeden, Germany and later the year I will be judging in Estonia.
I'm an agility instructor at NOAGård at Skælskør and I am active in the Border Collie Club.
